I take a holistic approach to personal training, including a focus on mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. My philosophy is based in educating my clients, establishing structure and discipline, and showing the overall wellness value found in strength training.

I also specialize in Pregnant & Postpartum training, helping women navigate every season of life. I'm a mom of one and I found my passion for pregnant & postpartum training during my pregnancy. I'm happy to let women know: you don't have to pee whenever you sneeze, cough, or jump. Let me show you how!

So how did I get HERE?!

My name is Amy Reed.

I remember the day I decided to prioritize my mental & physical health: January 2, 2015.

​​

I was 29 years old and I physically felt a jolt in my shoulder. It literally hit me. I'm miserable. I'm not living or moving in a manner that is aligned with who I truly am and who I say I want to be. I spent the next 29 days partaking in Dry January and slowly learning how to run, giving myself the goal of competing in the Special Olympics Delaware 5k at the end of the month. I ran that race and never looked back.

​

I fell in love with movement. With health. I feel better now at 39 than I did at 25. Aside from being strong, strength training has taught me discipline, motivation, patience, and so much more. Physical health IS mental health as well.

 

You don't have to wake up with or walk around with aches and pains. You can wake up and feel good. You can feel energized during the day. You can feel calm at night. Just moving impacts and improves so many areas of your life!​

​

All this brought me to LIFT Coaching: a place for you to "Live Inspired, Find Transformation." And I'm here to help you live a stronger and healthier life.

This is a program designed specifically for your fitness goals & lifestyle needs with weekly check-ins, form assessment video share and feedback, 24/7 messaging and more!

 

Current options are 2 workouts or 3 workouts per week.
