It sounds "woo woo." Yeah, I know. It is. AND it's also an opportunity to connect your mind, body, and spirit.
It shows up as mindset coaching when we address how you talk about your body, how you say you "hate" this or that. How to find your willpower, your discipline.
It shows up as emotional regulation through breathing techniques, releasing energy through literally shaking it out for 60 seconds at night. By sharing strategies to calm an anxious mind. By leaning into self reflection.
It shows up as lifestyle changes like learning that drinking a glass of water in the morning isn't actually a super hard thing to do and sets you up for a better day. What happens when you make your bed before you even leave your room in the morning.

And of course, it shows up in strength training. How a subtle shift in form means you lift heavier or for more reps. Working towards a goal like your first pull up or pushup. How much better you feel when you do hard things.
And that is why I'm here.
Hi, I'm Amy.
I take a holistic approach to personal training, including a focus on mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. I also specialize in Pregnant & Postpartum Training, helping women navigate every season of life. My philosophy is based in educating my clients, establishing structure and discipline, and showing the overall wellness value found in strength training.
I work in person with clients in the Columbia, SC area and online wherever you are. I have multiple programming options including self-pace or 1:1 training. I'm a mom of one, and it was during my pregnancy, I found my passion for pregnant & postpartum training. I'm happy to let women know: you don't have to pee whenever you sneeze, cough, or jump.
